The Springfield Armory 1911 10-8 Performance Master Class is a limited-edition 9mm duty-oriented pistol developed in collaboration with Hilton Yam of 10-8 Performance. Its full-size 5-inch platform combines classic 1911 handling with practical upgrades for hard-use reliability, fast manipulation, and precise shooting. The heavy coned barrel supports accuracy and durability, while the Springfield Armory AOS system provides a robust foundation for mounting a compatible red-dot sight. Purpose-built 10-8 Performance components include the slide stop, trigger, magazine catch, and reverse spring plug. Big scoop G10 grips, a square trigger guard, checkered controls, and an integrated magwell improve control and reload speed. The pistol uses a single-action operating system with a manual thumb safety and grip safety.
